Andy Murray has said that it is business as usual at the Paris Masters despite being just one win away from becoming world number one.

After his win over Tomas Berdych on Friday night, Murray will dislodge Novak Djokovic from the top of the rankings if he can defeat Milos Raonic in the semi-finals in France, but the Scot has attempted to downplay being under any added pressure ahead of the match.

The 29-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Before the match there were a few more nerves maybe than there was earlier in the week but once I got out there, I didn't feel any different to any other match.

"If it happens this week, great. But if not, I'm not putting any extra pressure on myself this week because I still think I have an opportunity to do it in the future but obviously I'd love to do it tomorrow if I can."

Murray has also beaten Fernando Verdasco and Lucas Pouille to reach the last four of the final Masters Series event of 2016.
