Milos Raonic has raced into the third round of the Paris Masters, beating Robin Haas in straight sets in under an hour this evening.
The 10th seed quickly took control of the opening set, breaking his opponent early, while Haas struggled to return against the powerful Canadian.
Raonic had a chance to clinch another of his opponent's service games later in the set, but the Dutchman managed to fight back, before Raonic served out the set.
Haas had similar problems in the second set, dropping his serve early on before allowing Raonic to cruise to 5-4 without facing a break point, before serving his way into the next round.
Raonic will face Tomas Berdych for a place in the quarter-finals.
