Serbian Viktor Troicki progressed to the third round of the Paris Masters with a 6-7(7) 7-5 6-4 victory over Feliciano Lopez this evening.
Lopez took the first set with a tie-break, as neither player was able to break the serve.
The world number 27 finally broke his opponent to win the second set 7-5, before wrapping up the match in the third, notching 11 aces en route to victory.
Tonight's clash was the second win for the Serbian in two meetings with the world number 17, following his success in the Rome Masters earlier this year.
Troicki will take on Stanislas Wawrinka in the next round of the tournament.
