Andy Murray has defeated Marin Cilic in the Aegon Championships semi-finals and remains on course to win successive Queen's titles.
The defending champion will now advance into the final of the tournament where he will play Milos Raonic or Bernard Tomic after winning 6-3 4-6 6-3 against Cilic.
Murray began brightly by breaking at the second attempt before fending off four break points to maintain that lead throughout the opening set en route to a second break which clinched proceedings.
The momentum then switched in the second when the British number one finally dropped serve at 3-3 as Cilic held his own serve from 0-40 down and forced a deciding set, but Murray broke at the first time of asking after a winner from behind his own base-line.
The Scot held that slim advantage for the duration, forcing Cilic to save match points on his own serve, before Murray booked a spot in the final with an ace to remain in contention for a fifth Queen's title.
