British number two Dan Evans has been knocked out in the second round of the Aegon Championships by seventh seed Kevin Anderson.
Evans, who defeated world number 51 Jurgen Melzer in the last round, lost 6-2 6-3 against the South African on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old will now turn his attention to Wimbledon, which gets underway at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on June 23.
Anderson's reward for beating Evans is a third-round tie with either Sergiy Stakhovsky or Vasek Pospisil.
