Kevin Anderson came out on top in this afternoon's first Aegon Championships quarter-final at Queen's Club with a straight-sets win over Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.
Both men are unseeded at the tournament and on the day Anderson just had the edge to win 7-6 7-5.
Neither player was troubled on their serve in the first set and in the tie-break it was Anderson who won it 9-7 after both men had missed on an earlier set point.
At the start of the second, Garcia-Lopez had two break points to move ahead, but he couldn't take them like Anderson did at 6-5 in front to seal victory.
The South African will face either Milos Raonic or Gilles Simon in the last four.
