Great Britain's Elena Baltacha overturned a one-set deficit against Kai-Chen Chang to advance through to round three of the AEGON Championships in Birmingham this afternoon.
Chang, who is ranked 100 in the world standings, looked to be on her way to victory when she recorded a 6-4 success to take the opening set.
However, Baltacha responded in the second set by breaking her Chinese opponent's serve on one occasion before going on to force a decider courtesy of the same scoreline she had just been defeated by.
The third set looked to be heading for a tie-break until Baltacha broke late to open up a 6-5 advantage.
The Ipswich-born player then held her nerve to serve out and wrap up the win 4-6 6-4 7-5 and advance through to round three.
