Juan Martin del Potro has advanced into the third round of the Rome Open after a 6-4 6-2 win over Russian number one Mikhail Youzhny.
The Argentine started the match in the best possible way by securing an early break, and the set remained on serve allowing him to secure the opening set 6-4.
The Russian struggled in what proved to be the final set, as he lost his opening two serves.
Del Potro remained on serve to eventually claim it 6-2 with an impressive forehand.
