Novak Djokovic has made light work of Simone Bolelli in the first round of the China Open in Beijing.
The world number one lost just two games on his way to victory in 72 minutes against the Italian.
Djokovic has won the tournament the last three years and was rarely in trouble against the world number 59.
After losing the first set 6-1, Bolelli had a break-point chance to take the lead in the second set, but he failed to convert it and Djokovic then won five games in a row to claim another 6-1 success.
The Serb will face Chinese wildcard Ze Zhang in the second round after the world number 219 surprised Denis Istomin in the opening round.
