Milos Raonic has progressed into round three of the Gerry Weber Open with ease following a 6-1 6-1 victory over Ze Zhang.
The Canadian pro started off brightly in the early stages of the opening set and managed to snatch the first break of serve in the contest, which proved detrimental to Zhang in the initial exchanges of the match.
Raonic was able to take complete control of the court with a number of impressive forehand shots and powerful serves, which prevented his Chinese opponent from imposing his game on the court.
The second set continued with the same pace as the first as Raonic tried to wrap up the contest by initially taking a three to love lead.
While Zhang tried to force through a comeback, the 21-year-old didn't have enough to trouble Raonic, who clinched the second set and the match without challenge.
