Three-time champion Novak Djokovic has reached the quarter-finals of the Miami Masters thanks to this afternoon's straight-sets victory over Tommy Robredo.
The second seed needed just one break in each set to win the match and offered his Spanish opponent just one chance at breaking back himself.
In a match dominated by the server, Djokovic converted his first break point in the fourth game to go 3-1 up and then denied Robredo his chance of breaking back in the next game.
Djokovic served out the first set 6-3 in just over half an hour before taking the second 7-5 after converting on his one and only break point of the set in the 11th game.
Defending champion Andy Murray or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga await in the quarters.
