David Ferrer has booked his place in the fourth round of the Miami Masters with a straight-sets victory over Andreas Seppi.
The fourth seed took one hour and 10 minutes to register a 6-3 6-2 win against his Italian opponent in the third-round tie.
Ferrer was in control of the contest right from the start and clinched the first set by hitting one ace and winning 78% of his first service points.
Seppi failed to provide much competition to the 31-year-old Spaniard in the second set and folded up after winning just 36% of his first service points.
