David Ferrer has fought to a three-set victory over Philipp Kohlschreiber to reach the final of the Vienna Open.
The Spaniard, who is in contention for a spot at the ATP World Tour Finals in London, outlasted Kohlschreiber to register a 6-3 2-6 7-6 triumph in Austria.
One break of serve was enough for Ferrer to take the lead against his German opponent, but Kohlschreiber, the world number 23, responded with two breaks of his own in the second to force a decider.
The pair traded breaks in the third before it came down to a tiebreak, and it was Ferrer who finished strongly to wrap it up by a 7-3 scoreline.
The 32-year-old will now play Andy Murray in tomorrow's final after the British number one beat Viktor Troicki 6-4 6-3.
