Angelique Kerber has dropped just two games on the way to recording a comprehensive win over Barbora Strycova to reach the last eight of the Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open.
The seventh seed broke serve on three occasions to wrap up the opening set in 31 minutes, and she continued her dominance in a one-sided second.
The German struck immediately to force Strycova onto the back foot, and another break of serve was enough for the left-hander to register a 6-1 6-1 victory.
The 26-year-old will now play Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in the quarter-finals.
