Great Britain's Johanna Konta and Heather Watson have both reached the last eight of the Monterrey Open in Mexico.
World number 27 Konta overcome Belgium's Yanina Wickmayer in two hard-fought sets.
Both went to tie-breaks, with Australia-born Konta eventually coming out on top 7-6(6) 7-6(4).
She will now take on either Kirsten Flipkens or Alison van Uytvanck for a place in the semi-finals.
As for Watson, she sealed her progression thanks to a 6-2 6-3 triumph over Slovenia's Polona Hercog in one hour and 20 minutes.
Up next for the 23-year-old is either second seed Caroline Wozniacki or Mirjana Lucic-Baroni.
