Johanna Larsson has knocked 10th seed Lucie Safarova out of the Miami Open with a 7-6(5) 6-2 victory in the second round.
The competitors earned a break apiece in the first set, which eventually forced through a tie-break, but the players were interrupted due to rain.
After returning to the court, Larsson was able to edge the tie-break 7-5 to give herself a crucial lead in the contest.
Safarova managed to break back instantly after losing her serve in the second game, but Larsson remained composed and earned another break before wrapping up the match.
