Andy Murray strolls into round three of the Sony Ericsson Open after defeating Alejandro Falla 6-2 3-6 following the Scotsman's bye into the second round.
Both competitors spent the early stages of the match on equal terms as points went by the way of serve until Murray clinched the first break to take the advantage.
The breakthrough gave the Scotsman the upper hand, which proved vital in snatching the first set and taking the lead in Miami.
Murray, who failed to overcome Roger Federer in the Dubai Championships final earlier this month, continued his dominance over his Colombian opponent.
While Falla managed to clinch a number of his service games, the British number one was just too much for him as he went on to finish the match and book a place in the next round of the tournament.
