Milos Raonic cruised past Jeremy Chardy in the second round of the Mutua Madrid Open this afternoon.
The Canadian didn't offer his French opponent a single break point on his way to a 6-3 6-3 victory in just over an hour.
After a steady start from both men, Raonic broke Chardy in the sixth game before going on to serve out the set to love.
It was a similar story in the second as Raonic broke through in the third game before again breaking at 5-3 to clinch victory.
The big-server will next face either Guillermo Garcia-Lopez or Kei Nishikori in the third round.
