Stanislas Wawrinka has comfortably seen off Janko Tipsarevic in straight sets to book his place in the third round of the Rome Masters.
Despite losing his first service game, world number 20 Wawrinka broke back three times on his way to taking the first set 6-3.
An under-par Tipsarevic was broken three more times in the second as Wawrinka closed out the match 6-1.
The Swiss will now face Andreas Seppi for a place in the quarter-finals.
