Venus Williams has advanced to the third round of the Miami Open by beating Urszula Radwanska 6-3 6-2 this afternoon.
The 16th seed lost serve three times and committed 21 unforced errors as her Polish opponent held her own and struck a number of good strokes.
Nevertheless, the 34-year-old still proved too strong against the younger Radwanska sibling, dispatching her in less than an hour.
Agnieszka Radwanska was able to advance into the third round of the competition after seeing off Anna Schmiedlova earlier in the day.
