Former world number one Novak Djokovic has comfortably secured a spot in the third round of the Shanghai Masters following a 6-3 6-2 victory over Grigor Dimitrov.
The Serbian, who clinched the China Open title over the weekend, started off strongly by nabbing a break of serve at the first time of asking.
Djokovic swiftly notched up a three-game-to-love advantage in the opening set and while Dimitrov managed to get a few games on the board, it wasn't enough to challenge the Grand Slam winner, who took an easy lead in China.
The second set went by the way of serve in the early games but the number two seed was able to snatch yet another break with some impressive returns.
A strong serve and well-executed forehands ensured that Djokovic held his serve to push on and wrap up the match in under an hour.
