Roger Federer has remained on course for his seventh Swiss Indoors crown after easing to victory against Jack Sock.
The 34-year-old, competing in front of his home crowd, broke three times on the way to a 6-3 6-4 success over the American, who has enjoyed an excellent week in Switzerland.
Federer will reignite his rivalry with Rafael Nadal in the final after the left-hander battled past Richard Gasquet by a 6-4 7-6 scoreline.
The Spaniard dropped serve twice but his return helped him as he set up the 34th meeting between himself and Federer, which is the first time that they have played each other since the 2014 Australian Open.
