Good morning and welcome to Sports Mole's live text coverage of the sixth day of action at the Olympic tennis event at Wimbledon.
Today is quarter-finals day at the All England Club for both the men and the women and there's a number of top names battling it out for a place in the last four.
There's also plenty of doubles and mixed-doubles action that we'll be keeping you up to date with.

17.53News from elsewhere and Sabine Lisicki and Christopher Kas have caused an upset in the mixed doubles as they beat Liezel Huber and Bob Bryan in three sets to reach the quarter-finals. The final set was won 10-5 in a super-tie-break.

A gold medal in London and she will join Steffi Graf, Andre Agassi and Rafael Nadal in an elite group of players who have won all four Slams and also have a gold medal to their name.
17.38Both of these competitors are playing in their first Olympics but for Clijsters it will be her last as she will be retiring after the US Open.

17.32The Wimbledon champion's win means that he will play Juan Martin del Potro in the semi-finals. The last time they faced each other was in the quarter-finals of this year's French Open, a match which Federer won in three sets.
17.30Federer gets very lucky indeed on match point as his forehand clips the net and drops over onto Isner's side, giving the American no chance. The world number one was the deserving winner in this one but Isner gave a very good account of himself indeed. He made Federer work hard in both sets.

16.00It's worth remembering that Federer is looking to become only the fourth player in history to win the Career Grand Slam (winning all four Slam plus an Olympic gold medal throughout your career). The last person to do it was friend and rival Rafael Nadal when he clinched gold in Beijing in 2008.
15.57These two guys have played each other four times down the years with Federer coming out on top in three of those matches. The last time was at Indian Wells back in March, a contest which the world number one won in straight sets.
15.55Here they come then. First out is the six foot nine Isner and he is quickly followed by Roger Federer, the King of Centre Court.

The Russian will now meet either Kim Clijsters or Maria Sharapova in the semis. That one's up later but for now we'll be staying on Centre Court as Roger Federer takes on John Isner in the quarter-finals of the men's singles.

14.22Tsonga and Djokovic are just completing their warm-ups by loosening the serve so let's have a look at their form, which is extremely similar. Both men lost in the semi-finals at Wimbledon to Roger Federer and Andy Murray and have been relatively impressive in reaching the quarters here at the Olympics.
14.21SET! Benneteau and Gasquet of France take the first set 6-4 against Serbia's Tipsarevic and Zimonjic.
14.20SET! Whoosh! Serena breaks again to win the first set 6-0 against Wozniacki. The American is truly firing on all cylinders.
14.18Here come Tsonga and NoDjo. I'm hoping for a real battle between the pair. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - aka Wills and Kate - have moved from Court No. 1 to the Royal Box on Centre. They're lucky, aren't they?
14.13DOUBLE BREAK! Serena simply has a blistering game at the moment. She takes a double break in the first set against Wozniacki and is now 5-0 ahead.
14.10Aaach! We're going to have to wait a little while longer for the players as the roof is taken off Centre. The officials must have read the same forecast as me then.

14.04Next up on Centre Court is arguably the pick of the men's quarter-finals as Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France, seeded five, takes on the second seed from Serbia Novak Djokovic. What a corker!
13.59Kerber hits long and the match is Azarenka's. To be honest, I'm surprised it went on that long and credit must go to Kerber for fighting so hard. The Belarusian was always dictating play and is through to the semis, where she'll face either Serena or Wozniacki.

13.20Azarenka's sporting a lovely red top-green skirt combo in the colours of her nation while Kerber is all in white bar some funky red trainers.
13.18Just to recap what has happened so far in this one, Azarenka took the early advantage and led 4-1 in the first before Kerber broke back to 4-4. The German couldn't maintain the fightback, however, as Azarenka broke in the tenth game for a 6-4 success. The Belarusian then moved 2-0 ahead in this set before the break below, Kerber now serving at 1-2.

The Spaniard at one point turned to a member of the crowd and said: "come on what?" after being told to do just that. Muzza will be delighted that he's progressed to the last four with such ease and can now have an afternoon's rest before his mixed-doubles match with Laura Robson later this evening.

13.05Almagro is serving at nowhere near 100% as he is simply knocking the ball into the box. His backhand is my favourite part of his game as he has a one-hander, rare in the modern game, but this is the shot that seems to be causing his shoulder the most discomfort.

11.29On Court 18 there's a women's doubles match as Czech pair Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka (blimey) face Chia Jung Chuang and Su Wei Hsieh of Chinese Taipei. Tongue twist-tastic.
11.26Just two games starting at half 11 and they're both doubles quarters. On No. 2, top seeds in the men's draw, the American Bryan brothers, take on the Israeli pair of Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram, who knocked out defending gold medallists Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka yesterday.
11.23The crowd on No. 1 have British number one Murray on court twice today as he opens proceedings in his quarter-final against Nicolas Almagro of Spain, seeded 11, and that's where we'll be focussing our interest at around 12pm.
