Serena Williams brushed aside Caroline Wozniacki to set up an Olympic semi-final with world number one Victoria Azarenka this afternoon.
The fourth seed blitzed her way through the opening set, breaking the Dane's serve on three occasions to take it 6-0.
Eighth seed Wozniacki finally got on the board in her first service game of the second, to rapturous applause of the No. 1 Court crowd at Wimbledon.
She could not, however, stave off Williams, who broke in the fourth game of the set before going on to record a 6-3 triumph.
