Roger Federer has admitted that he is relishing the challenge of facing world number one Novak Djokovic in the final of the US Open.
The Swiss cruised past compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets in their last-four match, setting up a showdown between the top two ranked players in the world at Flushing Meadows on Sunday.
"[Djokovic has] had a tremendous year," Federer told ESPN. "There's a lot on the line when we play each other. He's tough to beat. I like that challenge, and I'll be ready for it."
Federer will be bidding to win the competition for the sixth time in his career.
