Andy Murray will face India's Somdev Devvarman in the first round of the US Open.
The Brit has been named as fourth seed for the tournament which starts on Monday, while his opponent is currently world number 64.
The draw means Murray could face second seed Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals.
The world number four recently won the Cincinnati Open after world number one Novak Djokovic retired through injury during the final.
