Andy Murray has been drawn against controversial Australian Nick Kyrgios in the US Open first round.
The British world number three beat Kyrgios in both the Australian Open and French Open with straight-sets victories already this year, and will get the chance to knock the 20-year-old out of a third major when the tournament begins next week.
Kyrgios has been in the spotlight in the last few months after being accused of throwing a set in a Wimbledon match with Richard Gasquet, before being handed a suspended 28-day ban for comments he made on court to opponent Stanislas Wawrinka.
The world number 37 has never progressed beyond the third round at Flushing Meadows but reached the quarter-finals of both the Australian Open and Wimbledon in 2015.
Murray, who won the 2012 tournament, has avoided potential clashes with Rafael Nadal and world number one Novak Djokovic by being placed in the bottom half of the draw along with Wimbledon finalist Roger Federer.
