Agnieszka Radwanska has breezed into the second round of the US Open with a 6-1 6-0 win over Sharon Fichman.
Fichman broke Radwanska in the opening game of the first set, but it was one-way traffic from there, with the Pole breaking three times in a row to eventually take the opener 6-1.
Fichman struggled to match her opponent in the second, meanwhile, losing all three of her service games and failing to break, with Radwanska easing into round two.
The first-round match lasted just 49 minutes.
