Britain's Dan Evans has recovered from a set deficit to book his place in the third round of the US Open with victory over Bernard Tomic.
The 23-year-old, who is separated by 127 places in the world rankings from his Australian counterpart, was humbled 6-1 in the opening set by the world number 52.
However, the British number three rallied to pick up the following set 6-3, before emerging triumphant from an exhilarating 7-6 tie-break to take the lead.
Despite being broken in the first game of the fourth set, Evans raced into a 5-3 lead, before serving out the match to move into the next round.
