Jamie Murray and John Peers have reached the last 16 of the men's doubles at the US Open with a straight-sets win over Santiago Giraldo and Rameez Junaid.
The eighth seeds are looking to reach their second successive Grand Slam final after reaching that stage at Wimbledon in July, and they delivered another assured display to see off their opponents.
Two breaks of serve secured the first set for the British and Australian pairing, and although they were tested in the second, they struck during the closing stages to seal a 6-1 7-5 victory.
Murray and Peers will now face Philipp Oswald and Adil Shamasdin in the third round.
