Rafael Nadal will face Novak Djokovic in the US Open final after beating Andy Murray in four sets.
The Spaniard had the better of his opponent in the first and delivered a series of unstoppable forehands to win 6-4.
It was more of the same in the second as Murray had no reply to the number two seed, who was ferocious as ever on court and took the set 6-2.
Murray managed to keep himself in the match and was rewarded when he grinded out a 6-3 win in the third.
Nadal didn't allow the Scot to build on the previous set, however, and was the more ruthless of the two as he closed out the match 6-2.
Defending champion Nadal will take on world number one Djokovic in Monday's final after the Serb beat Roger Federer.
