Eugenie Bouchard has admitted that she expects a tough test against Simona Halep in the Wimbledon semi-finals.
The Canadian reached the last four on Wednesday with a 6-3 6-4 win over Angelique Kerber, while third seed Halep saw off Sabine Lisicki 6-4 6-0.
With Halep being the highest seed left in the women's draw, Bouchard is wary of the challenge that the Romanian will provide.
"She's a very good player. I think she's number three in the world. I want to go one step further," she is quoted as saying by the tournament's official website.
Bouchard and Halep will meet on Thursday for a place in the final.
