Petra Kvitova has insisted that she expected a tougher match against Kurumi Nara after easing past the Japanese in the Wimbledon second round.
In 2014, Nara impressed against Venus Williams before eventually suffering defeat, but Kvitova was delighted to come through against the world number 57 in less than an hour.
The 25-year-old told BBC Sport: "I think it was a good match from my side. I was expecting a tough match because she provided a tough match for Venus Williams last year, but I was really prepared and really happy with how I played today."
Kvitova will play either Jelena Jankovic or Evgeniya Rodina in the last 32 on Saturday.
