British number one Andy Murray has insisted that it 'isn't a big deal' that Rafael Nadal has been seeded fifth for Wimbledon.

Nadal's seeding means that the former Wimbledon champion could meet either Murray, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer or David Ferrer in the last eight of the tournament, but the Scot isn't thinking too far ahead.

The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I think people have made far too bigger deal over it. For any of the seeds to meet Rafa, we need to get to the quarter-finals first before that can happen.

"If I could sign up for a place in the quarter-finals now, I would, and I think everyone else would too.

"I don't think it's that big a deal, and there's always upsets at major events in all sports, so you just have to be ready for the first match."

The draw for Wimbledon takes place on Friday morning.
