British number two James Ward believes that the possibility of playing Andy Murray in the second round of Wimbledon is a "good incentive" for him to win his first match.
The 26-year-old faces Yen-Hsun Lu in the first round later today on Court Two on the first day of the competition.
Ward told The Sun: "I don't want to think about it too much, but it's a good incentive to work towards.
"It's not like people I talk to won't mention it to me. I can't really forget it. Lu is a tough match, there are no guarantees, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes."
Ward reached the second round at Wimbledon last year, his furthest progression in the tournament to date.
