Juan Martin del Potro is through to the third round at Wimbledon following a comfortable four-sets win over Go Soedao of Japan.
Soeda failed to pose any threat with his returns in the opening two sets, while Del Potro converted all three of his break points to cruise into a 6-2 6-3 lead.
The Argentinian appeared to take his foot off the gas in the third, producing 10 unforced errors as his opponent broke twice to take the set 6-1.
However, Del Potro regained control of the match, dominating on his serve as he efficiently claimed the fourth set 6-4 with a solitary break.
Another Japanese opponent awaits Del Potro in round three in the shape of Kei Nishikori.
