Rafael Nadal has moved through to the Wimbledon third round with victory over Mikhail Kukushkin.
The world number one prevailed by a 6-4 6-3 6-4 scoreline but that did not tell the whole story as Kukushkin impressed on Centre Court.
Nadal struck five times on the Kazakh's serve but it was a case of missed opportunities for Kukushkin, who only took two of his 13 opportunities on the Spaniard's delivery.
Two-time winner Nadal now progresses through to face Australian youngster Alex de Minaur, who needed four sets to get the better of Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
Elsewhere, Novak Djokovic booked his spot in the last 32 with a win over Horacio Zeballos.
