Kei Nishikori has secured his spot in the second round of Wimbledon with a comfortable 7-5 6-3 6-4 victory over Mikhail Kukushkin.
The Japanese secured an early break of serve in the first, but Kukushkin answered back to level it at 4-4.
He secured the first set, however, by breaking Kukushkin to take it 7-5.
The final two sets were straightforward. Nishikori moved up an early break in the second, before breaking at 4-3 to serve for the second set.
Nishikori broke in the opening game of the third, meanwhile, and again at 4-1 as he moved comfortably towards the finish line.
