Triathlete Alistair Brownlee has revealed that it was 'a dream' to win gold in the Commonwealth Games.
The Team England athlete had already claimed the Olympic title and world title entering the competition this summer, but completed the set in Motherwell this afternoon.
"To complete the set following the Olympic title and world title is perfect. It is far more than I could ever have dreamed of," he told reporters in the mixed zone.
Alistair's brother Jonathan Brownlee, meanwhile, took silver.
