Jonathan Brownlee has been crowned world triathlon champion thanks to a podium finish in New Zealand this morning.
Brownlee, 22, who won bronze at the Olympic event this summer, came second behind title rival Javier Gomez after a sprint finish to the line in Auckland.
That was, however, enough to secure the overall title for the Leeds athlete.
He told reporters afterwards that he was tired and glad the season was over.
Jonny's older brother Alastair, who took gold at the London Games, was not competing because he is recovering from having his appendix removed.
