Great Britain women's curling head coach Rhona Howie believes that Eve Muirhead and her side play at their best in pressure situations ahead of their semi-final showdown with Canada.
Howie won the gold medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics in a similar situation and feels that Muirhead and her team are more than capable of defeating the unbeaten Canadians.
She told The Telegraph: "In years gone by, this team are good when they get to those do-or-die knockout games or play-off stages. That is where we want to be right now.
"The team have shown that, under pressure, they can perform and they can fire well. The world semi and final in Latvia, well they were awesome. That's what they train for, to be performing like that in those big games."
Team GB face off against Canada in the last four of the competition later today.
