The USA's Todd Lodwick has said that he had "the most fun" despite finishing sixth in the Nordic combined team event at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi on Thursday.
Norway won their 10th gold medal of the Games by completing the 4x5km course with a time of 47.13.5.
After the race, Lodwick told reporters: "I'm pretty sure I had the most fun out there.
"It's the Olympic rings, it's the Olympic Games. This being my sixth, I've really learned how to take it all in, what the five rings represent and what the American flag represents.
"Not only for myself, but for people back home, and the pride that they see every four years."
The 37-year-old was competing in his sixth Olympics.
