Full Hell in a Cell predictions

:Headline: Full Hell in a Cell predictions: ID:184739: from db_amp
Sports Mole gives its full predictions for WWE's Hell in a Cell PPV as John Cena, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose all step inside satan's structure.

History could be made and careers shortened when WWE celebrates its sixth annual Hell in a Cell pay-per-view tonight at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.

The rivalry of 2014 between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will come to an end inside satan's structure, while old enemies renew hostilities as Randy Orton and John Cena collide in the 20ft-high steel cage.

Elsewhere there are four championships on the line on an eight-match card and below, Sports Mole predicts the outcome of each contest.

United States Championship match: Sheamus (c) vs. The Miz

Does anybody really care about the United States Championship anymore? Probably not, because WWE have done nothing to make fans take interest in it.

The Miz is bouncing from mid-card title to mid-card title, with his last run with the Intercontinental Championship lasting less than 24 hours. Why take that belt from him to place another on him a month later?

Sheamus to win is virtually a lock, but there is at least one intriguing element to this match, and one which could eventually provide the mid-card with some much-needed fresh blood and rivalries.

Damien Mizdow has been battling with Sheamus himself over the past few weeks and WWE have teased tension between Miz's stunt double and the Hollywood star himself, so he is likely to be involved in a sketchy finish.

Count on Mizdow to inadvertently cost Miz the match as the pair move a step closer to a split which would see 'The Intellectual Savior of the Masses' return to his Sandow monicker via a face turn.

Prediction: Winner and STILL champion, Sheamus

Intercontinental Championship match: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Cesaro

More evidence of the WWE's lack of booking sense comes with this matchup, with Cesaro moving on to the more prestigious IC title immediately after losing a US title shot.

However, they can be forgiven in this instance because any pushing of Cesaro should be applauded, and the uber-talented Swiss has put on some thrilling matches with his in-ring equal Dolph Ziggler in recent weeks.

Ziggler regaining the belt from The Miz one night after losing it at Night of Champions suggests that it was a late decision for 'The Show Off' to go into a programme with Cesaro, but it has worked, simply because of the excellence of each wrestler.

Cesaro has had a few failed pursuits of mid-card titles in recent times and another would seem pointless if WWE have any intention of eventually giving him a main-event spot, so he is the most likely victor.

Prediction: Winner and NEW champion, Cesaro

Divas Championship match: AJ Lee (c) vs. Paige

A once-fledgling Divas feud has taken a hit in recent weeks due to confusing and disjointed booking.

In an attempt to keep the rivalry fresh, WWE have inserted Alicia Fox into the picture to increase the odds against AJ Lee, but it has not really worked and the champion has lost some of her spark too.

Still, AJ and Paige are the two most interesting and talented women on the roster and have put on several matches during their summer-long rivalry which have increased the credibility of the Divas title.

This must be the end for this storyline, for now. Paige is the future of the Divas division and will cross paths with AJ again, but she needs to lose clean this Sunday and allow Mrs Punk to move onto someone else.

Prediction: Winner and still champion, AJ Lee

Tag Team Championship match: Goldust & Stardust (c) vs. The Usos

Goldust and Stardust have lost a lot of momentum since beating The Usos for the straps at NOC.

It was expected that, having had them end one of the longest and most entertaining tag title reigns in recent history, WWE would invest in the Rhodes Brothers to make them seem like dominant heel champions.

On the contrary, they have suffered several televised losses, with Goldust in particularly being used as a whipping boy, and the quality and intensity of their feud with The Usos has derailed because of that.

The physicality and heat that existed between the two sets of brothers seems to have disappeared, and fans can expect a fairly short and tame match when they meet again at Hell in a Cell.

Goldust and Stardust need to win once more, and this time WWE needs to get their post-PPV booking right and find another duo for these two strange siblings to tackle.

Prediction: Winner and still champions, Goldust & Stardust

Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella

Finally these two twins meet one-on-one on pay-per-view. Quite why it has taken so long for it to happen is unclear.

And there is an added twist too, with the loser having to act as the other's personal assistant for a period of a month.

That effectively gives the game away in terms of the result, though, with Nikki likely to win and force Brie into doing a series of horribly demeaning and embarrassing things.

This will help Brie garner more sympathy from a WWE universe who is already fond of her due to her choice of husband, and one that is beginning to appreciate her as the vulnerable babyface Diva.

Prediction: Nikki Bella

Big Show vs. Rusev

Rusev has proved to be almost unstoppable since his April debut, but he faces quite literally his biggest test yet when he clashes with Big Show on Sunday.

That being said, it is also a big opportunity for him to showcase his remarkable strength and brute force to an unparalleled extent.

The segment from Monday's edition of RAW has also seen this feud generate interest where Rusev's battles with Jack Swagger and Mark Henry couldn't, with the Bulgarian attacking a U.S. serviceman.

Show has promised to make Rusev pay for his latest anti-American action, and while he may dish out some physical punishment, that retribution will not come in the form of a victory as Rusev's undefeated streak is not ready to come to an end yet.

Prediction: Rusev

Hell in a Cell match: Randy Orton vs. John Cena

Orton and Cena will contest a PPV match for the 1342nd time (roughly), but at least WWE have added a stipulation which makes this one feel slightly different.

The winner inside the Hell in a Cell structure will earn a future WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Brock Lesnar.

With Cena seemingly having unfinished business with 'The Beast Incarnate', and Orton still a while away from a face turn and unlikely to feud with him heel versus heel, the result is perhaps more predictable than ever.

The match may be a familiar tale, but the finish could be worth watching.

Prediction: John Cena

Hell in a Cell match: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

Seth Rollins will have nowhere to run when the cage door locks him inside hell with Dean Ambrose.

Mr. Money in The Bank has shirked many direct fights with his former Shield brethren, who is still incensed by Rollins selling out the dominant faction to align himself with The Authority earlier this year.

Rollins has hidden behind Triple H, Kane and Orton in recent months, but will finally have to deal with 'The Lunatic Fringe' himself inside the most demonic structure ever created by WWE.

It is the perfect accompaniment to the culmination of what has been a vicious and personal feud, but one which must end this Sunday. Booking sense suggests that Ambrose will get his long-awaited retribution on Rollins with victory.

The manner of the result could be controversial, though. Do not rule out involvement from Orton, whose tension with Rollins may cause him to cost his supposed ally the match, especially if frustration boils over following his probable defeat to Cena.
