WWE star John Cena has talked up the ability of Roman Reigns by describing the former Shield member as "an absolute star".
Reigns headlined WrestleMania 31 alongside former world champion Brock Lesnar after winning the Royal Rumble back in January.
Speaking on a podcast hosted by Chris Jericho for the WWE Network, Cena explained why he believes that Reigns has the tools to be a long-term success in the company.
"I think Roman is excellent," Cena told ex-world champion Jericho. "I think his work is smooth, he has a great look, he's found himself as a person and I like the fact that he's found himself in these polarizing situations where he has to deal with getting it stuck to him [by the fans] every night.
"But he's a star, this kid is an absolute star. The fans say 'they want new' and you do that and they say 'that's not good enough'. I think the next front man is going to be [the one] who takes chances."
Reigns lost the main event of 'Mania after Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to pin his former Shield teammate.
