Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Saturday.
Sports Mole

Arsenal will aim to make an immediate return to winning ways when they welcome winless Newcastle United to the Emirates on Saturday lunchtime in the Premier League.

The Gunners were humbled in a 4-0 Anfield defeat to Liverpool last time out, as Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Takumi Minamino all helped themselves to goals.

Mikel Arteta's side missed the opportunity to rise into the top four with that loss but remain fifth in the table heading into gameweek 13.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Granit Xhaka

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Granit Xhaka is recovering well from the serious knee injury that he sustained back in September's North London derby but is not due to return to full training until January.

Folarin Balogun

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: November 27 (vs. Newcastle)

Folarin Balogun dealt with stomach cramps while representing England's Under-21s during the international break but will hope to come back into contention for this contest.

Sead Kolasinac

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Sead Kolasinac suffered a significant ankle injury during the recent international break and is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines as he recuperates.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
