Arsenal will be bidding to make it eight Premier League victories in a row when they welcome Brentford to the Emirates Stadium in Saturday's late start.

Mikel Arteta's side will enter this match off the back of a 6-0 victory over Sheffield United in the league on Monday, which continued their incredible scoring run in 2024.

The Gunners remain third in the Premier League table despite their recent form, one point behind second-placed Manchester City and two behind leaders Liverpool.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Brentford, who sit 15th in the division, six points clear of the relegation zone.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: March 9 (vs. Brentford)

Saka was withdrawn at the interval of the clash with Sheffield United due to illness, and he will need to be assessed ahead of the game against Brentford this weekend.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: March 9 (vs. Brentford)

Martinelli was replaced in the second half of the clash with Sheffield United due to a cut on his foot, but the Brazilian is expected to have recovered in time for this contest.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: March 9 (vs. Brentford)

Zinchenko was again absent against Sheffield United due to a calf problem, but the left-back has a strong chance of being back in the squad against Brentford this weekend.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: March 9 (vs. Brentford)

Tomiyasu was not involved against Sheffield United, as he continued his recovery from a knock, but the defender has a chance of being back in the fold this weekend.

Jurrien Timber

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Timber recently took part in a training session with his teammates, as he steps up his recovery from an ACL issue, but there is still no clear return date for the Netherlands international.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

David Raya

Status: Out
Possible return date: March 12 (vs. Porto)

Arsenal will be without the services of Raya this weekend, as the Spaniard is unable to face his parent club, which will open the door for Aaron Ramsdale to make his first league appearance since the reverse match with Brentford on November 25.
