Fulham midfielder Simon Davies has suffered a setback on his return from injury.
The 31-year-old was said to have been close to full fitness following a knee problem, but will now be out for a number of months.
"Simon has a pretty tough injury," said Fulham manager Martin Jol. "He will be out for the next couple of months.
"It is a technical thing. It could be four to five months."
Fulham host Newcastle United tomorrow in the Premier League.
