Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Championship action, including Derby County vs. Nottingham Forest.

Derby vs. Nott'm Forest (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Derby County play host to East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon having put together a five-match winning streak in the Championship.

While the Rams sit one point adrift of the playoffs, Forest hold a seven-point advantage over their next opponents in the standings.

We say: Derby County 2-1 Nottingham Forest

All things considered, this is an extremely difficult match to call. However, despite Forest's recent improvement, we cannot back against Derby at this time, who we feel will be able to battle their way to a narrow win.

Blackburn vs. Leeds (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Leeds United make the trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday evening holding a six-point advantage in the Championship promotion race.

Meanwhile, Blackburn welcome the league leaders on the back of successive defeats, results which have left Rovers five points adrift of the playoffs.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 1-2 Leeds United

Although Leeds have been far from convincing since the resumption, we have to back Bielsa's side to get the better of Blackburn, who have struggled to show the same kind of form and resilience which they displayed before the enforced break.

Brentford vs. Wigan (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Brentford head into their Championship fixture with Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon having won each of their three fixtures since the resumption.

While Wigan are another of the form teams in the division, the Latics are back in action for the first time since being placed into administration on Wednesday afternoon.

We say: Brentford 2-1 Wigan Athletic

Given the turmoil of recent days, it remains to be seen how Wigan's players will react. However, with Brentford having already built momentum over recent games, we expect the Bees to claim another three points.

Bristol City vs. Cardiff (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Cardiff City head into their Championship encounter at Bristol City on Saturday afternoon having maintained a slender advantage in the race for the playoffs.

However, Bristol welcome the Bluebirds to Ashton Gate having lost each of their three games since the resumption, leaving the club down in 12th position.

We say: Bristol City 0-1 Cardiff City

Although Bristol have been in dismal form, we feel that this fixture could get the best out of Johnson's side. However, Cardiff have been hugely impressive of late, especially at the back, and we cannot go against the visitors claiming another narrow win.

Fulham vs. Birmingham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Fulham square off against Birmingham City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon having ended their two-match losing streak with victory over Queens Park Rangers.

Although they remain clear of the relegation zone, Blues head into the game at Craven Cottage on a nine-match winless run in all competitions.

We say: Fulham 2-0 Birmingham City

With Fulham having gotten back on track in midweek, that should act as the springboard for an improved run going forward. With out-of-form Birmingham ideal opponents at this stage, we expect the Cottagers to enjoy a comfortable afternoon.

Huddersfield vs. Preston (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Huddersfield Town will be looking to further distance themselves from the Championship relegation zone when they play host to Preston North End at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

In contrast, Preston have seen their playoffs hopes dwindle following a 1-0 defeat to Derby County - their fifth loss in six outings.

We say: Huddersfield Town 2-1 Preston North End

Huddersfield's confidence ought to be sky high following their impressive victory at St Andrew's, whereas Preston are showing no signs of a revival as the fight to make the playoffs hots up. That being said, we are backing the Terriers to record their second victory on the bounce and condemn Preston to their third defeat in a row on Saturday afternoon.

Luton vs. Reading (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Luton Town's fight for Championship survival continues on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Reading to Kenilworth Road for their 41st league match of the season.

Reading, meanwhile, are at risk of being dragged into a relegation scrap as they search for their first three points since the English second tier returned to action.

We say: Luton Town 2-1 Reading

This is a difficult one to call. Reading's recent form is nothing to write home about, and Luton have not been known for their goalscoring capabilities despite their unbeaten run. Nevertheless, we are backing the Hatters to scrape a narrow home victory and keep their survival bid well and truly alive.

Stoke vs. Barnsley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two sides embroiled in a relegation dogfight will face off in a crunch match on Saturday as Stoke City welcome Barnsley to the bet365 Stadium.

Stoke succumbed to a 3-0 defeat against Wigan Athletic last time out, whereas Barnsley enjoyed a 2-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers to keep their survival hopes alive.

We say: Stoke City 0-1 Barnsley

O'Neill's scathing assessment of his players is sure to have an effect on their performances in these final few weeks, but whether the Potters can kickstart a revival against one of their fellow strugglers remains to be seen. Barnsley have shown plenty of positive energy since they returned to action, and we expect the Tykes to carry that momentum forward against a substandard Stoke side this weekend.
