Hello, and welcome to Sports Mole live coverage of the match in the Champions League between Porto and Leicester City.

When Leicester began their debut campaign in the Champions League, they would probably have been content with reaching the last group game with something to play for. However, after registering four wins and a draw from five matches, it is effectively feet up for Claudio Ranieri's side as they travel to Porto knowing that they will top Group G and feature as one of the eight seeds in Monday's draw for the last 16. The fairytale has very much been extended into another chapter.

That said, Ranieri will be keen for their unbeaten record to continue after their recent poor form in the Premier League. It seems far-fetched to think that the Foxes could be relegated 12 months after lifting the Premier League trophy but the longer they go without a win in the top flight, the more realistic that scenario will become. Some of last season's stars have been left at home so while Leicester will be fielding a weakened team tonight, the players coming in will be eager to show why they deserve a place in the side on a regular basis.

Anyway, without further ado, let's get cracking with the team news. It's going to be weird seeing a Leicester side which does not feature the likes of Mahrez and Vardy!

LEICESTER CITY SUBSTITUTES: Albrighton, Amartey, Simpson, Zieler, Ulloa, Fuchs, Barnes

What do you make of that, Leicester fans? Ben Hamer starts in goal while Marcin Wasilewski comes in to partner Wes Morgan in defence. Ben Chilwell gets a rare start at left-back while Nampalys Mendy is able to make his comeback from injury in midfield. Danny Drinkwater plays given he is currently serving a suspension in domestic action while Ahmed Musa gets the nod of Leonardo Ulloa, who must wonder what he has to do to get any game-time if he can't get a start in a game such as this one.

Keeping with Ulloa, he has made no starts and 10 substitute appearances in first-team games this season. You'd have to imagine something has gone on behind the scenes for him to not start at least match when Leicester have been struggling for goals. His sole start has come in a Checkatrade Trophy game at home to Walsall.

An appearance by Ben Hamer has come as a surprise too. He has not played a senior game for Leicester since January 2015, meaning this is the first time he has ever been selected by Claudio Ranieri. In all fairness to him though, he has a solid record between the sticks for the East Midlands outfit. He has kept four clean sheets and never conceded more than two goals during a game in his 10 outings in all competitions.

We won't be going through all of the players one-by-one but I'm sure Foxes supporters will be pleased to see Demarai Gray get a chance from the start. He has only made two starts this season - one in the Premier League and one in the League Cup - while he has featured for just 33 minutes in the Champions League. He will be determined to impress in Portugal.

Ok - one more. Ben Chilwell this time. Remember when Liverpool were reported to be ready to spend £7m on Chilwell after he first burst onto the scene? They are probably still interested and we have to remember he is still 19 but after sitting out the last couple of months through injury and with Christian Fuchs ready to come back into the team at the weekend, he isn't going to get many better chances than this to make a name for himself. Ranieri is probably realistic with his expectations of the young Englishman but he has the platform to show he belongs at a high level.

This is a fairly worrying stat if you are an England fan...

We are unable to bring you a head-to-head record because the only match that has taken place between these two clubs is the one which Leicester won at the King Power Stadium in September. The 1-0 scoreline did not tell the whole story, though, with Porto pushing hard during the second half without netting an equaliser. Leicester are also without Islam Slimani - the player who netted the only goal of the game - tonight. He's a big miss when he doesn't play.

You are already aware that Leicester will top Group G whatever happens this evening but what about Porto? The former winners of this competition are well placed in second but they need to beat their English opponents if they are to guarantee a spot in the knockout stages. They hold a two-point advantage over Copenhagen but if the Danes win and Porto draw, Copenhagen will progress courtesy of their edge in the head-to-head record.

Something else we should note about Porto is that their European matches have featured very few goals - just seven, to be precise. The only time they have scored twice in a game during this campaign was at Club Brugge and that was only because of a 93rd-minute penalty. The have the quality to run riot against a much-changed Leicester team but don't be surprised if we are lacking goalmouth action.

PREDICTION! Despite their lack of goals, we feel that Porto will run out comfortable winners at Estadio do Dragao. Leicester have pace in their side, especially in wide and attacking areas, but they may struggle to cope at the back with over half of their backline having barely played this season. Porto to prevail by a 2-0 scoreline.

It's time for the two teams to make their way out in Portugal. Despite nothing riding on the result, the Leicester fans are out in force. They probably expected their team to be needing a result tonight but at least they can sit back and try to soak in the occasion. This may be their only opportunity to enjoy a Champions League run.

We are underway.

Ouch! After Porto dominate possession for the opening moments, Telles falls on Okazaki after they contest a high ball. They are both back up but they were in enough pain to warrant a stoppage in play.

Well that's not a good start. Hamer fails to deal with a Brahimi cross and the ball goes out for a corner. From the resulting set-piece, Silva gets the better of Schlupp to head into the net from around eight yards, with the goalkeeper barely moving.

CHANCE! We are only nine minutes into this match and you get the feeling this could get ugly. Jota turns Waslilewski and is able to run directly towards the penalty area without much pressure. However, he can only drag his shot wide from around 20 yards out.

It's backs-to-the-wall stuff from Leicester at the moment. Porto are running forward at will and this won't stay at 1-0 for long if we carry on like this. In the other game, Copenhagen have taken the lead but as it stands, it's irrelevant.

Leicester have finally got their foot on the ball to calm things down for a couple of minutes. They have been chasing shadows thus far. They miss having an outlet in attack. Okazaki and Musa don't seem prepared to play on the last man.

Copenhagen are now two goals to the good in Belgium. Again, it's pretty irrelevant while Porto are winning but while they only a one-goal advantage, they will be worried about Leicester hitting back.

We are over 20 minutes through this match but I don't think Casillas has touched the ball yet. With Porto having kept five clean sheets in a row in all competitions, this could be a quiet night for the legendary Spaniard.

Moments after Silva wastes an opportunity from eight yards, blazing the ball over the crossbar, Porto double their advantage through Corona, who sends a superb volley into the top corner from 14 yards. That could be that.

Since the goal, Schlupp and Musa have been trying to use their pace in the wide areas but ven when they get into a position to cross the ball, Leicester have no height to target in the middle. I'm really not sure how they get back into this unless they try to go long.

Mendy hasn't done much on his comeback into the team but he pops up with one of the most blatant shoulder-barges you will ever see. It gives Porto a free kick in a threatening area but Hamer is just about able to deal with the cross.

CHANCE! Porto fancy a third before half time and they should really get it when Brahimi makes some space for himself on the edge of the area. However, he doesn't connect sweetly with his shot and it goes wide of the far post from around 16 yards out.

Porto threaten again with a free kick from around 30 yards out but it clips off the wall and goes off target. Hamer may have been struggling with that one. Leicester need to get to half time without further damage. They are still in this, providing Ranieri has the chance to change something at the break while his team are only 2-0 down.

Porto make it three and this is getting embarrassing for the Foxes. After a minute's worth of probing, the ball is played through to Pereira on the right-hand side of the penalty area and after finding Brahimi with his cross, his teammate is able to flick the ball into the far corner from six yards.

The half-time whistle goes in Portugal and Leicester march off having offered very little aside from showing a willingness to capitulate against their hosts, who was going to canter to victory in this match. It's very much damage limitation for the Premier League outfit.

Unsurprisingly, Leicester are making changes. Marc Albrighton and Leonardo Ulloa are coming on for Musa and Schlupp. Will it make a difference? Probably not, but Ranieri had to do something. We are back underway.

CHANCE! Must better from Leicester. Albrighton has an immediate impact with his cross causing all sorts of trouble at the near post. The ball eventually falls to Gray but his volley goes over the bar.

SHOT! Gray tries another ambitious effort but it was only going to head wide of the post. Ranieri will be satisfied with his team's response, however. They aren't going to get anything from this game but they are at least showing some intent in the final third.

CHANCE! Porto almost net a fourth through Jota, who turns Waslilewski before firing a shot marginally wide of the far post. The Leicester centre-back has struggled tonight. It's an area which Leicester must invest in during the transfer window.

I thought Porto may have dropped their intensity a touch in the second half but they are still looking for more goals. Pereira, Brahimi and Jota have the beating of their men in various areas of the pitch.

CHANCE! Brahimi is given a ridiculous amount of time to line up a shot from the edge of the area but despite getting plenty of power behind his effort, it was too close to Hamer.

Porto go 4-0 ahead through a penalty from Silva but the talking point here is whether Drinkwater should have been sent off. He dragged Silva back as he was about to shoot from six yards out. A dismissal would have resulted in him being suspended for the first leg of the last 16.

I don't envisage much happening in these final 21 minutes. This match was over a long time ago. Leicester are trying to get something going but they aren't even second best in a match involving two teams.

It's going from bad to worse for Leicester. Drinkwater is having to be helped off after appearing to do damage to his knee or thigh. He will surely be substituted at the earliest convenience.

Drinkwater has come back on. I have absolutely no idea why he is taking a risk here. Ranieri still has one change up his sleeve. Porto are pushing for a fifth with Leicester back on the defensive.

SUBSTITUTIONS! Ah, Drinkwater is going off now with Harvey Barnes coming on to make his first-team debut. What a game to make it in! Porto have also made alterations, two of them I think.

It's officially a rout. Chilwell jumps into a challenge without success and it leads to Jota being played in to fire through the legs of Hamer from close range.

It's still one-way traffic in Portugal. It's turning into an exhibition match for the home side and their supporters are loving it. Don't be surprised to see them get one or two more goals.

We haven't seen much of Barnes but in all fairness, it's been a hard game to get into given Porto's control of possession. I'm sure he will just be grateful to get onto the pitch and to gain the experience of featuring in a European tie.

WOODWORK! Leicester have hit the bar! Seriously, they have. A corner was met by Ulloa who headed his initial effort against a defender but after the ball returned to him, he drilled the bar against the top of the crossbar from 14 yards out.

There will be three minutes of added-on time.

CHANCE! Jota should hit the target after being teed up inside the penalty area but he gets under his shot and it goes into the stand. That will be that, I think.

The full-time whistle goes in Portugal and Leicester had managed to end the game having conceded just the five goals. It could have been worse after a desperately poor performance but they can at least look forward to the group stage draw on Monday where they will be among the seeds.
