How Liverpool could line up against Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp may have to work around the absence of left-back Andrew Robertson for Sunday's Premier League battle with Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.

The Scotland international suffered an ankle injury while representing his country earlier this month, although his issue is not particularly severe, and he has a slim chance of forcing his way into the squad.

That is more than can be said for Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Joel Matip (knee), Ben Doak (knee), Thiago Alcantara (muscle), Diogo Jota (knee), Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee) and Alisson Becker (hamstring), while Curtis Jones (shin) is touch-and-go.

However, Ibrahima Konate and Darwin Nunez have both been given the green light by Klopp, who should reintroduce the former alongside Virgil van Dijk in front of Caoimhin Kelleher.

Conor Bradley continues to shine in the absence of Alexander-Arnold, while Joe Gomez will be expected to fend off the threat of Kostas Tsimikas to step in for Robertson on the opposite side of defence.

Further forward, an unaltered midfield trio of Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister are primed to feature, while Nunez's return to fitness should see Klopp field an untouched attacking trident too.

Luis Diaz - who quickly shook off a knock from the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United - will no doubt start on the left, while Mohamed Salah is bidding to become the first-ever Premier League player to hit double figures in goals and assists in three straight Premier League seasons.

Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Gomez; Szoboszlai, Endo, Mac Allister; Salah, Nunez, Diaz
